A recent report for Southeast Conference, generated by Rain Coast Data, breaks down those 2020 and 2021 numbers by industry! In 2021, visitor industry jobs increased by 36% over 2020, while payroll increased by $74 million! Additionally, marketing Southeast Alaska to potential visitors has been identified as a top priority in the Southeast Alaska 2025 Economic Plan, a five-year strategic plan for the region, developed and released by Southeast Conference.
