Business Survey 2022

July 19, 2022 – Overall, the survey found that this is the best business climate since 2017, most respondents expect prospects to continue to get better, businesses are hiring, housing is the regions #1 economic problem, and the top barriers and benefits have remained similar over time.

Additionally, the region’s quality of life, recreation, culture, and arts are the top business benefits to the region; while high freight costs, lack of housing, and overall high cost of living remain the top barriers.
