June 9, 2022 - Working, playing, living in, and visiting one of the most pristine places in the world has people thinking green and supporting operations that are striving for responsible business practices! Adventure Green Alaska (AGA) is a voluntary certification program within the Alaska Travel Industry Association (ATIA) for tourism businesses that meet standards of environmental, economic, and social sustainability. The sustainable tourism certificate program encourages tourism businesses to evaluate their operations to move towards best management practices. Operators in Juneau that are AGA certified include: Above & Beyond Alaska, alaskacoachtours, Alaska Travel Adventures, Alaska Travel Connections, LLC, Allen Marine Tours, Custom Alaska Cruises, DIPAC's Macaulay Salmon Hatchery, Gastineau Guiding Company, Hurtigruten, John Hall's Alaska, and Wings Airways/Taku Glacier Lodge!
